15th August 2014 – My First Day
Like many other games, you first enter in an unknown scene with just
your avatar, newbie clothes and hair. I have experiences in this type of game, navigating myself was not that difficult because it's basic and not complicated at all. Big thumbs up for Lockwood!
I found myself at the beach the first time I logged in. No guardians
around to assist but just an achievement pop-up. So I just followed the
achievement instructions and less than few minutes I got the hang of the game.
Steps to Edit Your Profile
I then opened the red/blue icon on top and it displays different kinds
of options.
Home, Switch Avakin App, Coins Purchase, Newsletter, Friend
Referral, Achievements.
Please note that in-game name can never be changed. Do create a new account if you choose to start a new avatar under different name.
If you pressed Home, it will lead you to your Avakin profile then
you will see Friends List, Messages and Progression.
In your profile you can edit your profile page colour right beside
your in-game name. It will be reflected as your name tag colour as well.
You can edit the flag portion which is the left side of “Progression”
under “Profile”.
You can leave it as it is (red/blue icon) if you want to keep it
private.
After that you can move on to change your interests! :)
I will be posting tutorial for all things Avakin Life related soon. I’m
still new to this game and will appreciate all suggestions or feedbacks from
you guys who are reading this blog.
